The Irish Missionary Union would like to express its solidarity with asylum seekers in Mosney who are being subject to transfer to Hatch Hall in Dublin without consultation or their consent.
The annual day-out of the Jesuit Mission Office on 30 June had a motley group of missionaries, friends, volunteers and Mission Office staff descend on some of the best known historical sites in the capital.
" We turn also to the ‘frontier’ of the earth, increasingly degraded and plundered. Here, with passion for environmental justice, we shall meet once again the Spirit of God seeking to liberate a suffering creation, which demands of us space to live and breathe. "

Welcome to the Irish Jesuit Mission Office
This is the international outreach of the Irish Province of the Society of Jesus. We support Irish Jesuit missionaries and volunteers working in Africa and Asia. Our personnel abroad work in education, healthcare, human rights, pastoral activities, refugee services and spirituality. We recruit volunteers who wish to serve from 6 months to 3 years in projects overseas. The Mission Office actively seeks funding to support our projects and personnel in developing countries.
